I believe by producing the film opening plot we have decided on we will include all the elements of an opening sequence.
I believe by producing the film opening plot we have decided on we will include all the elements of an opening sequence.
- The audience will establish within the opening scene the main characters 'M' and 'J' and what career path they pursue (secret agents). They will also discover the personalities both characters are portraying; M an established and experienced secret agent and J an amateur and unexperienced secret agent.
- The audience will establish the location which will be to them a big house but to us it will be Pontlands Park. They will gain a feel for how the location within the film is at high security.
- From the moment the film opening begins, the audience will discover the genre of a 'Spy Comedy'. This is all due to the mise en scene (costumes).
- Within the opening scene, the audience will also discover the mood and tone as they will find out how the secret agents are on a serious mission.
- The opening credits will show the character the title to the film and the mood the film will create from the font and effect.
