Question 5

Within the video annotations pop up stating how our film attracts our target audience and there are many other ways. The changing of speed allows the user to noticeably see when the acting is meant to make them laugh and when it isn't. For our younger audience, this can add comedy as they note that it has changed speed and they pay greater attention to the actors and in these scenes we have them aiming to be funny. Acting such as playing about with his gun and being generally goofy.

The actors we have used are specific to the target audience as well. We have got the funny male lead for everyone to enjoy. Children, Adults, Boys and Girls will like him and find him funny. The female lead is for the men and boys, as well as strong willed leading ladies who are determined to do everything that a man can do and better, they can almost see her as inspiration to do something that isn't renowned for being a women act. For example, a woman usually is not the main spy in a film they are usually the eye candy and nothing but a bit of fun for the main spy but in this film a woman plays lead so it almost sends out a message to the girls that they can do what ever they want and it can be accepted. It shows a change in time with how women are equally treated with men as well as being respected and shown as strong roles. We wanted to give women a bit of hope and show them that they can do whatever they want if they tried and they wouldn't have to worry about the man doing better as it is now just as equal.

Another way that we have attracted our target audience is with the font. It's very gamey so those kids/ teens that spend all day up in their rooms can come down and the titles can reach out to them, as it may relate to their video games that they like to play. It can can relate to their favorite things but in this case it wont be so serious it will be something you can sit down and relax to while having a laugh. Little things like this can make huge impression on people that may not usually watch films like this one. The bright colours can appeal to young boys and girls and the moving titles can also grab their attention. As well as attracting the adults who spend their whole day at work, being busy and hard working. They can just come home to relax and watch something that completely contrasts with their normal life, giving them a break and so that they are able to have some fun.

We have kept our script very minimal. For a spy film such as this one you want more action than words so having little script keeps the viewers attention especially the little ones. We were weary of if we had too much script they would loose interest and not pay attention to the film. Especially the younger generation might not understand so we tried to keep it as simple yet effective as possible in order to appeal to as many audiences as possible.
